LB19: Call Your Senator
Posted: Friday, March 29, 2002
[EDIT]
From Sally Green - HRC Northern Field Organizer
LB 19, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act is currently pending in the Nebraska Unicameral.
We are asking people to do two things in support of LB 19:
Call Speaker Kristensen and ask him to schedule LB 19 for a vote. LB 19 is Senator Ernie Chambers' priority bill for this session. Speaker Kristensen's office number is 402-471-2726.
Call your Senator and ask him/her to support and vote for LB 19 when it comes up for a vote.
You can look up your Senator online at
http://www.unicam.state.ne.us/senators/senators.htm, or you can call your local County Elections office for your Senator's phone number.
When calling, leave your name, address, and say that you want to ask that your Senator support LB 19, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, when it comes up for a vote.
